SPATIAL SYSTEMS
The Spatial Systems series extends pictoral structures into real space.
Based on constructive, modular systems, installative situations emerge
in which space itself becomes the carrier of the works. Linear and planar
elements are transferred into spatial constellations and interweave with
the architectural space. The works operate between painting, objecthood,
and installation. Order is generated in space, not reprensented.

OBJECTS
The Object series shifts the conditions of painting between panel and object.
Painting on the surface is extended into spatial wooden structures that assert
a physical presence. The works combine acrylic and oil on solid wood and
plywood bodies, redefining the image as a material field between surface and
space.
Structural grid systems exploring order, variation and the transformation of pictorial space.
GRIDS
The Grids series is based on the grid as a structural system of order.
Through multilayered formations of parallel planes, the grid is reinforced,
transfomed or gradually dissolved. Constellations emerge in which surfaces,
intervals and spatial relations enter into a fragile balance.
Between order and movement, pictorial spaces unfold through structure, density
and dissolution.
Linear systems of repetition and displacement investigate the relationship between structure, surface and perception.
Sequential Lines / Structures
Parallel and differently oriented line systems define this series.
Through repeated and layered applications of paint on black grey surfaces, colour
gains intensity and enters into a dynamic relationship with the underlying ground.
The works are organised in distinct yet interconnected series. Each develops through investigation,
where repetition, variation and reduction generate shifting visual relationships over time.
Together, the series form an open body of work in which painting, objects and spatial systems
remain in continuous dialogue.
